Purpose

The FHG_USBOTG is an USB embedded host/function controller for use with 16/32-bit microprocessors. It is fully compliant with USB 2.0 specification and the new On-The-Go supplement for point-to-point communications. Its parameter set enables the designer to enhance the USB host interface and to tailor it to the applications needs.

• Can operate as full- and low-speed function controller, or host/function for point-to-point communication with other On-The-Go devices
• Supports Session Request Protocol and Host Negotiation Protocol (SRP and HNP)
• Generic 16/32 bit microcontroller interface
• Scalable number of pipes, up to 16 pipes are supported
• Supports all transfer types (control, interrupt, isochronous, bulk)
• Supports the maximum packet size for every transfer type
• Dual Port RAM interface
